Kate is the Practice Network Manager covering Dunedin to Waitaki, and is responsible for managing the relationships we have with our practices. Kate is primarily there to assist practices with delivery and evaluation of clinical, operational and primary health services contracts, programmes,  standards and initiatives in accordance with Well South’s strategic objectives.

Kate joined WellSouth in May 2017 from Albany Street Medical Centre after 10 years working in Practice Management for General Practice. Prior to working for General Practice, Kate worked for Westpac Banking Corporation as a banking advisor. In both of these roles Kate believes she gained the greatest skill required for her current position; communication!

  

Helen Ramsay

Helen is the Southland Practice Network Manager and is responsible for managing the relationship we have with our practices. Helen is primarily there to assist practices with delivery and evaluation of clinical, operational and primary health services contracts, programmes,  standards and initiatives in accordance with WellSouth’s strategic objectives.

Helen joined WellSouth in 2016 from the Canterbury District Health Board where she was for 18 years.  Helen has a long history within the health sector including experience in medical administration, human resources, information services, and business process analysis, and involvement in large payroll and patient management system IT projects. Helen holds a BCom in Operations, Human Resource and Marketing Management from Otago University. 

 

Angela Ryley

Angela is the Central Otago, West Otago and South Otago Practice Network Manager and is responsible for managing the relationships we have with our practices.  Angela is primarily there to assist practices with delivery and evaluation of clinical, operational and primary health services contracts, programmes, standards and initiatives in accordance with WellSouth’s strategic objectives.

Angela joined WellSouth 4 years ago after 9 years at Roxburgh Medical Centre where she was a Senior Practice Nurse.  Angela holds a Diploma of Nursing from Southland Polytechnic and a Post Graduate Certificate.   Overall Angela has 25 years in primary and secondary heath.
