Te Kākano Health Clinic

Te Kākano Health Clinic provides a full range of primary health care services for whanau across the greater Otago region.  Clinics are facilitated by a Nurse Practitioner who is able to provide FREE primary health care including prescribing, referral to diagnostic services such as radiology and ultrasound, prompt referral into secondary specialist services.

Tumai Ora Whānau Services

Tumai Ora Whānau Services, provides whānau ora services across East and North Otago encompassing the Moeraki and Huirapa Rūnaka rohe, Waitati, Purakanui and the Waitaki Valley.

Tumai Ora loosely translates as ‘taking a stand for the best’.  Tumai Ora is about fostering accessibility to service delivery and help to build greater relationships with health and social services in the Otago area.

The key objectives of the services of Tumai Ora are to ensure existing health professionals and providers are available.  Tumai Ora Whānau Services are available to all of the community.
