WellSouth Unaffected by Recent CrowdStrike Issue

WellSouth Service Status Statement

We can confirm that WellSouth Primary Health Network systems have not been impacted by the CrowdStrike product IT issue currently evolving globally. 

We also suspect that most practices within our network also do not utilise CrowdStrike, and if you do, you are likely already in contact with your IT vendors.

In addition, we have received communications from various PMS platforms and providers, confirming that while some experienced temporary disruptions, all have now recovered and are reporting normal operations:

·       Indici: Indici has resolved the recent service outage caused by a CrowdStrike upgrade. Full functionality has been restored, and all systems are stable and operational. For more information, don't hesitate to contact the Indici support team.

·       MedTech: MedTech services have been experiencing technical issues due to an outage. However, their teams have worked throughout the night to restore services to all platforms. This has been completed, and they are monitoring the situation closely. Any support issues should be done via 0800 263 3832.

·       TMG Cloudland (Hosting): TMG Cloudland has restored all platform services affected by the CrowdStrike update and is working directly with any customers who may still be impacted. If your environment is experiencing issues, please contact TMG Cloudland support at help@tmgcloudland.co.nz or 0800 123 CLOUD (123 256).

·       Karo: Karo has also updated us regarding the recent issue and can confirm that Karo’s systems remain secure and are not impacted by this incident.

Wider Cyber Awareness

Please also be aware that an increase in phishing attempts referencing this outage has already been observed. Opportunistic malicious actors seek to take advantage of the situation, targeting organisations and individuals. Be vigilant for suspicious emails or messages and verify the sender's identity before clicking on any links or providing any information.
