General Practitioner Representative Trustee

Make a difference: help govern WellSouth Primary Health Network to improve health outcomes for people in the Southern region.

Nominations are now open for a general practitioner to fulfil the responsibilities of Trustee on WellSouth’s Board from May 2025 for a four year term.

WellSouth Primary Health Network is tasked with facilitating the best health and wellbeing for our community across Otago and Southland.  We do this by empowering and supporting primary care providers to deliver sustainable, accessible, equitable quality care to Southern communities.

This is a bold vision, and our board and senior leadership team work together to identify how we can do this with a Te Tiriti and equity-driven foundation.  The Boad of Trustees plan, set and monitor our strategic outcomes, and we are now seeking a member of the clinical community to join us.

The Trustee will be joining Trustee representatives for general medical practitioners, joining nurse, community, Māori and  business representative Trustees.
