Dunedin Covid Testing Centre hours extended
Wednesday 13 July 2022WellSouth have extended the opening hours of the Covid community testing centre at 5 Malcolm Street in Dunedin as of yesterday.
The hours of operation are now 9.30am to 5.30pm, 7 days a week.
After the closure of the Te Kāika testing centre on Victoria Road on the 26 June, we want to reassure the community that testing is readily available.
The testing centre is open for drive through and walk in testing with no appointment required.
The centre offers testing for symptomatic patients and surveillance testing for border workers. They do not offer pre-departure travel testing.
The testing centre is also a community collection site for RAT tests, these must be pre-ordered online at https://requestrats.covid19.health.nz/ prior to collection.
As cases begin to rise in the Southern community, it is important that people continue to test and isolate if they are unwell.
