February 2026
On 11 February, we welcomed back Dr Sam King from the Medical Protection Society (MPS) as our guest speaker. Sam spoke about the privacy aspects of the recent Manage My Health breach, as well as the implications of the incoming change to 12‑month prescriptions for some medicines.
December 2025
In this forum we hosted Bonnie Mitchell and Nicole Ratuszny from Healthy Practice, who spoke about how to take an employee through the disciplinary process. There was also a discussion on HR-related questions.
November 2025
Martin Carrell, Resilience & Continuity Manager at Te Whatu Ora spoke about understanding critical functions and having a ‘plan B’. Martin discussed key principles of emergency preparedness including situational awareness, self-preparedness, and communications.
