WellSouth is part of the national ‘Live Stronger for Longer’ movement.

Positive ageing is about providing the best quality of life for older people, so we are working to help reduce the risk of falls and fall injuries for older people in the Southern District.

Our Falls and Fracture Prevention team work to keep you independent and on your feet.

They can support you to improve your strength, balance and bone health through one of our falls and fractures prevention services.

In-Home Strength and Balance 

For people where community access is difficult - we can come to you. A free service, for those who qualify. 


Community Strength and Balance 

 Exercise group for older adults, catering to all ages and abilities. 


Fracture Liaison Service

 Bone health advice and support for prevention and management of fragility fractures.
