Code of Health and Disability Training
The National Health & Disability Advocacy Service provide free education sessions for all health and disability providers. There are three advocates based in Dunedin and one in Invercargill who are happy to provide training in person or via zoom on the Code of Rights, Open Disclosure and our role in a healthy complaints process.

Understanding Bias in Health Care
Three video learning modules on bias have been developed for people working in the health care sector who engage directly with consumers or who influence the way health organisations are managed. The modules are an introduction to bias in health care.
These modules encourage health professionals to examine their biases and how they affect the health care they provide, their interactions with consumers, and therefore their health outcomes. Sign up to learn online for free and complete the modules at the following link:

Training via Health Learn. To gain access to Health Learn online modules please email Katrina Braxton to request access. Katrina requires your full name, practice name and email address. Once you have been granted access from Health Learn you will receive an email from them to reset your password.

My Health Hub
My Health Hub aims to deliver education to rural health professionals and is a new directive from Mobile Health which has been providing education for more than 15 years. In the last few years the education program has grown significantly and is endeavouring to make webinars more accessible, create short courses and to streamline administration.
The My Health Hub webinar recordings have been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and have been approved for up to 1 CME credit for each one hour webinar for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes.
My Health Hub lodges claimed CME points with RNZCGP and issue certificates, which are directly emailed to you.
