Updating Your Patient Fees
This Year's Allowable Fees Increase
For the 2024-2025 period, the Annual Statement of Reasonable Fee Increase (ASRFI) is 7.76% for practices with 50% capitation funding. This allowable fee increase differs depending on your capitation revenue split. If you have any ‘banked’ allowable fee increases from previous years, you can add this to get your practice's Total ASRFI available.
Where any fee increases exceed the Total Annual Statement of Reasonable Fee Increase and the adult patient fees are more than $65 (incl.GST), Health NZ | Te Whatu Ora will consider it for referral to the Fees Review Committee (FRC) for independent review.

Any fee changes for enrolled patients are to be notified to WellSouth for Health NZ approval. This should occur as soon as practical, and preferably before the increase takes effect.
